TOKYO SUPERBOND TILE ADHESIVE (STANDARD SET) is a thin set cement based tile adhesive, which can be used for fixing ceramic, porcelain terracotta, granite tiles etc. on mortar screed or concrete base.
TOKYO SUPERBOND TILE ADHESIVE (STANDARD SET) can be used for fixing tiles on walls and floors. Highly workable mix with high water retention capability make fixing tiles on floors and walls easier, economical and resulting a high bond strength.
Recommended Usage
Application Method
Mixing
Pour 6 litres of clean water into bucket.
Empty entire 25kg bag of Tokyo Superbond gradually in to the same bucket while mixing using a stirrer (rpm<500)
Mix thoroughly for 3 mins into a smooth, workable paste.
Allow the mixture to soak for 2 mins.
Mix again for 2 mins.
if required, add in small amounts up to 1/2 litre of water whilst mixing till you get a smooth, spreadable paste
Application
Apply a 3-5mm layer of Superbond on clean & dry surface with notched trowel.
Spread the adhesive only on an area that can be tiled within 20mins.
Leave a 3mm gap between the tile and press firmly into wet adhesive.
Clean the gaps.
Use a rubber mallet to fix in place.
Grout 7hrs after tiling.
Other Notes
Use SUPERBOND within 2hrs of mixing.
Not necessary to wet Tiles. Clean the bonding surface with a wet sponge before tiling.
Walk on surface 24hrs after tiling.
Max recommended tile size 2ft x 2ft & less.
