TOKYO SUPERFLOW FLOORING COMPOUND is a self leveling cementitious flooring compound which can be applied manually or by pump to achieve rapid. flat leveled substrate prior to the application of the final floor finish. Typical uses are in warehouses, factories, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, commercial buildings, residential and domestic properties etc. Apply two coats of primer before laying the product. Recommended thickness of coating for a floor is between 5-10 mm.
Water addition levels for mixing, temperature of floor and surrounding covering the area quickly after laying and application of hardener are the critical areas to be considered before application.

Application Method
Mixing
Pour 5.5-6.0 litres of clean water (room temperature) into a bucket.
Empty the entire 25 kg bag of TOKYO SUPERFLOW gradually into the same bucket while mixing using a stirrer (rpm <500).
Stir the mix using a mechanical mixer for 5 minutes till the powder is fully dispersed.
Allow the mixture to soak for 2 minutes.
Mix again for another 2 minutes.
Use the slurry within 10 minutes.
Application
The surface being applied on should be dry, firm, clean and free of loose materials (oil, grease, wax and polish).
Apply a coat of primer to prevent formation of pin holes and shrinkage cracks. Allow to dry.
Apply the mix to the prepared surface and spread to a uniform thickness by using a wiper or float.
Recommended minimum coating thickness for a floor is 5mm. Use a skeg leveler to achieve a uniform thickness.
To de-aerate trapped air within the coating, use a spiked roller.
Air curing is recommended. Don't cure the surface using water.
Other Notes
Recently laid concrete or screed should be left to set for a minimum of 3 weeks before applying TOKYO SUPERFLOW.
If ambient temperature is over 28°C, spray water on the surface to bring down the temperature and wait for the surface to dry.
After 24 hours, the surface can be used for light foot traffic.
Recommended to cut and polish after 14 days.
TOKYO SUPERFLOW can be used with inorganic pigments. Not all additives are compatible. The recommended amount is 0.5%. Contact the technical team for more details.
