Expansion of “Nourishing the Future” School Nutrition Program
The Tokyo Cement Nourishing the Future school nutrition program extended by adding 179 students from 4 schools in Siyambalanduwa in the Moneragala District.
Through the programme primary grade students of Wattegama Sirimal Kanista Vidyalaya in Kotiyagala, Bambaragasroda Kanista Vidyalaya in Siyambalanduwa, and Barawaya Primary School and Daanakiriya Kanista Vidyalaya in Kandaudapanguwa receive a glass of milk at the start of the school-day and balanced mid-day meal, on all school days throughout the year.
