Tokyo Cement initiated a large-scale mangrove planting project in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Navy around the Bay of Trincomalee. This project plants 10,000 mangrove saplings every year, nurtured at our very own plant nursary, in an effort to regenerate the dwindling Mangroves Eco-system along the Eastern coastline of Sri Lanka.
